Heavyweight! The Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Medical Devices (Revised Draft) have been passed

Premier Li Keqiang chaired the executive meeting of the State Council on December 21,and decided to continue the policy of extended repayment of principal and interest on inclusive small and micro enterprise loans and the credit loan support plan,and passed the Regulations on Prevention and Disposal of Illegal Fund Raising(Draft)and the Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Medical Devices(Revised Draft).
The meeting pointed out that medical devices are related to the physical health and life safety of the people,and strict supervision must be implemented.The meeting passed the"Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Medical Devices(Revised Draft)"to strengthen the responsibility of enterprises and research institutions for the safety and effectiveness of medical devices,clarify approval and filing procedures,enrich regulatory means,add regulatory measures such as product labeling traceability and extended inspection,increase the punishment of illegal acts,and significantly increase the amount of fines for serious illegal acts involving quality and safety,Severe penalties such as revoking licenses and implementing industry and market bans will be imposed on serious illegal units and responsible individuals.Those involved in crimes will be held criminally responsible in accordance with the law.
The meeting also discussed other matters.
